Every abstract submitted for the APDSC 2024 will undergo a thorough review process aimed at upholding the utmost scientific standards. The committee will assess each abstract and rank them according to their scientific merit.

Regular abstract submissions will qualify for either oral or/and poster presentations at the conference. Abstracts failing to adhere to minimum submission guidelines, proper formatting, and completion of all necessary fields will be subject to rejection.

Acceptance of presentations at the APDSC 2024 is contingent upon a peer-review process. Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions prior to abstract submission. The committee retains the authority to review, accept, or decline any submitted abstract. The committee will determine the acceptance status (acceptance or rejection) of all abstracts and allocate accepted abstracts to oral or/and poster presentations. Additionally, the committee reserves the right to reclassify abstracts into different topic categories based on their evaluation and organisational needs.

 

Abstracts must adhere to the following minimum requirements:

• All abstracts must be original submissions and should not have been previously presented at another meeting.

• Abstracts must be submitted by the specified deadline through the specified website.

• They should offer a significant and original contribution within the scope.

• They should be written in clear English with minimal syntax and spelling errors.

• Submissions must include sufficient data, which should be thoroughly analysed and discussed, with conclusions appropriately supported by the data.

• Abstracts must meet the specified format guidelines (max 300 words) with 1 - 2 figures (optional).

• The submitter must choose 2 relevant categories.
